Finding an eco-biological foundation which is also light on your skin and long lasting is not very easy: too often, the products on the market can't get to meet the needs of the different skin types, so their formula contains too much alcohol or too much oil, and it's unbalanced for an oily or a dry skin, depending on the case; also the texture is often dry and pasty, unpleasant and heavy to keep on your face, as well as being hard to apply, so you have to touch up your makeup often if you want to be always in order.
I have desired to try a water based foundation (like the Bareminerals' one. which I hope I'll try soon thanks to a sample that a friend of mine will give me) since a long time, so when I heard about the SO'Bio Etic one I jumped for joy! Thanks to Antonella and Guglielmo from Punto Bio, today I can show you some swatches of the three available shades, and give you my first impressions about them.
Passiamo agli swatches!
The composition is really good, as we have a variety of ingredients that make it pleasant to the touch, ensure its high performance in terms of lasting and keep your skin matte, also moisturizing and conditioning it (examples of these are: Sodium Hyaluronate, Silica, Lauroyl Lisine, Sucrose Stearate ..)
Now let's check out the swatches! It is clearly based on water and mineral pigments, highly liquid, a real colored water, which tends to leak when applied: I had to use a towel to prevent a disasters! However, after a very little, water evaporates, and the product dries and fixes: in the short time it took to take the photo, as you can see, in some areas the color already lost water.
The available shades are three: the most suitable for my skin tone is definitely the clearest, though I am still tanned. Shades 01 and 02 are quite neutral, while 03 has a slightly warmer undertone: in particular, the first one is perfect for those who have a neutral undertone and a beige color, but once applied the product tends to match wiith the color of complexion, so I recommend you try it along your jaw to verify that this is the right color for you.
Vi lascio i link qui:
A presto con gli aggiornamenti al riguardo!
Actually, to apply it I am using this, but I bought on Aliexpress two brushes which will surely are right for me! One is the dupe of the very well-known Bareminerals' brush (which also Kiko proposed for 14,90€), the other one instead is quite thich, flat and whith a roundest point than the one I use. I leave you the links below:
As usual, I hope you enjoyed my review and you found it useful :) XOXO,
